Working Student Software Development (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

Assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of software and web applications
Contributing to the implementation of new features based on business requirements
Collaborating with a team of developers and product managers
Assisting in writing software documentation
Assisting in software testing
Researching software packages and alternative solutions to problems.

Your Qualifications

Enrolled student at the University in Rostock, preferably in the fields of Computer Engineering or similar
Good programming skills (preferred language is Python, others include SQL, JavaScript)
Web Development: Understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Django Framework: Experience with Django, its ORM, and its templating language. Familiarity with Django REST Framework would be a plus.
Databases: Knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite etc., and understanding of SQL.
Version Control: Experience with version control systems like Git.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Open-minded and keen to work in a multicultural multidisciplinary team
Very good command of English (C1)
Good communications skills
Willing and capable of learning new technologies quickly
Understanding and experience with connected data or graph databases like Neo4j is a plus.
